Quarter 1, Week 6

Please send in as many cans as you can. We need them to make drums.

Interims were sent home on Thursday. Please sign and return.

Fieldtrips!!

We are excited that we are able to schedule 4 Science related in-school field trips for our students this year!

“Science Fun for Everyone” (formerly known as “High Tech High Touch”) will be visiting our school to conduct four 75 minute programs with each 2nd grade class - one program per quarter. The programs (“Sound Surprise,” “Weather Wise,” “Everything Matters,” and “ Circle of Life”) tie in with our Science units throughout the year. This group has visited our school many times in the past and has done a fantastic job - the kids absolutely LOVE it!

The cost is $35 per child for all four programs. You may choose to pay the full amount at once or split your payment in two installments of $18 and $17.

If you choose the installment option, the first payment is due Fri., Sept. 13th. The balance (second payment) is due by Friday, Jan. 31st. Again, you can choose to pay the full $35 now or just send in $18. If would like to sponsor another child (with the full $35 or in part), donations will be appreciated and accepted also.
