Important Information about our upcoming Science “Field Trips”

September 3, 2013

Dear Families,

We are excited that we were able to schedule 4 Science related in-school field trips for our students this year!
Science Fun for Everyone (formerly known as High Touch High Tech, Science Made Fun!) will be visiting our school to conduct four 75 minute programs with each class- one program per quarter.  The programs (Sound Surprise, Weather Wise, Everything Matters and Circle of Life) tie in with our Science Units throughout the year.  This group has visited our school many times in the past and has always done a fantastic job- the kids absolutely LOVE it!!

The cost is $35.00 per child for all four programs.  You may choose to pay the full amount at once, or split your payment in two installments of $18.00 and $17.00.  You can pay online at http://osp.osmsinc.com/wakenc.Simply scroll down to find our school and click on the program. You may also pay by cash or make a check payable to Lake Myra Elementary Schoo1.

The first payment will be due by Friday September 13th in preparation of our first program which will be September 19th and 20th.  Again, you can choose to pay the full $35.00 at this time or just $18.00 for now.  If you split your payment, the balance of $17.00 will be due by January 31st.
Please send your payments as soon as possible so we can have accurate numbers of children attending.  If there will be any difficulty in making these payments on time, please let us know right away.
